Appointments & Fees

All foot and ankle problems newly presenting to us need a thorough assessment of foot health and an initial working diagnosis of the particular problem to be able to provide a focused and individual treatment plan. This will be the focus of your first appointment.

Your experience with us will usually start with a new patient appointment but other appointment types are also available. Please bring along details of your medical history and any medications you are taking and allow a few minutes just before your appointment for completing a new patient form.

New patient appointment: £125

These appointments are suitable for a first podiatry consultation regarding most foot problems and will usually last up to around 45 minutes.

The appointment will start with taking your general medical history, move on to assessment of your overall foot health with some simple, non-invasive tests then focus on examining your main presenting foot problem. The likely causes of the problem will be discussed with you along with a plan for managing the problem which may include various treatment options.

Treatments and costs will be discussed with you so that you are fully informed and know what to expect. Treatment will usually be started at this appointment if possible and advice given for any further management.

Some problems may only require one appointment but lengthier treatments or problems of a more complex, chronic or recurring nature may need you to return for additional or more specialised treatments.

Standard appointment: £75

These shorter appointments last around 20 to 30 minutes and are for returning for review of progress and/or for further follow-up treatments.

Express appointment: £40

These appointments are for around 10 minutes and are suitable for when only a brief review or a simple re-dressing is needed.

Specialised appointments & treatments: prices vary

A wide variety of different investigations and treatments can be offered to help the many foot and ankle problems which present in clinic. These include minor surgery, specialised treatments for verrucae, joint injections etc. The individual fees applicable to these will be fully discussed with you before proceeding so that you are fully informed of expected costs.
