Appointments & Fees

All foot and ankle problems need a thorough assessment of foot health and an accurate diagnosis of the particular problem to be able to provide a focused and individual treatment plan.

Your experience with us will usually start with a standard appointment but extended appointments are also available. Please bring along details of your medical history and any medications you are taking.

Standard appointment: £75

These appointments are suitable for less complex foot problems and will usually last for around 20 to 30 minutes. This is often sufficient for many simple foot complaints.

The appointment will focus mainly on assessment of your foot health and the presenting foot problem. Treatment may be started at this appointment or may need to be be deferred to a subsequent appointment. Lengthier or more complex problems or treatments may need at least one return visit.

Alan will fully discuss the likely need for any further appointments and expected costs so that you are fully informed.

Extended appointment: 

These are extended length appointments usually lasting up to 60 minutes and charged according to the time taken. These appointments are needed when the foot problems are more complex and need more involved assessment or when more complex treatments are needed.

Review appointment:

These appointments last for 10 to 15 minutes and are suitable for review of your treatment progress when treatment is not needed or for simple re-dressings after minor surgery.

A wide variety of different investigations and treatments can be offered to help the many foot and ankle problems which present in clinic. The individual fees applicable to these will be fully discussed with you before proceeding so that you are fully informed of expected costs.

Payment methods

Customers are responsible for the prompt payment of all fees at each appointment.

All major debit and credit cards are accepted or payment may be made in cash.

Please note we cannot accept cheques as these can no longer be guaranteed.

Regrettably, we cannot accept payment via private health insurance at the moment.
